Holidays & Hours
GreenX observes U.S. recognized holidays. On GreenX recognized holidays, trading on CME Globex and submissions for clearing through CME ClearPort may observe different opening and closing times. Opening and closing times may also be affected on the business days prior to or after a holiday for CME Globex Trading.
Regular trading hours for CME Globex are 6:00 PM Sunday-5:15 PM Friday Eastern Time with a 45-min break during 5:15 PM-6:00 PM Eastern Time. Submissions for clearing through CME ClearPort are permitted between 6:00 PM Sunday-5:15 PM Friday Eastern Time with a 45-min break Monday-Thursday, from 5:15 PM-6:00 PM Eastern Time. Hours are usually finalized approximately two weeks prior to a given holiday. Dates and times are subject to change at the discretion of the Exchange. Current GreenX holiday hours are posted below.
